Floral Design – 1970-80 Disco
“Saturday Night Fever.” A traditional line design in which
the element of line predominates usually emphasized by a restrained use of plant material: silhouette is open: voids exceed solids. To be viewed from 3 sides. Height not to exceed 24 nches. Accessories permitted.
Horticulture – 1980’s Blossoming of Broad Street.
Stamford Garden Club landscaped Ferguson Plaza in front of the library, an historic landmark and led other garden clubs in the area in this project.
Cut Specimen: One blooming stem, spike or spray from exhibitor’s garden. Length of cut specimen not to exceed 24” tip to tip. To be exhibited in a clear glass container of exhibitor’s choice.
