Floral Design Schedule:
“The first blooms of spring always make my heart sing.” S. Brown
Theme: “Springing” create a floral design using early spring blooms. Design should not exceed 12 inches in height, length or width.
Horticulture Schedule

Cut flowers:
Class 1: A single cut flower from exhibitor’s garden. To be shown in a clear glass container.
Class 2: A collection* of 3 flowering perennials or bulbs. (Daffodils have a poisonous sap, only exhibit them together, not with other varieties of flowers) Make a simple diagram identifying the plant material on a separate piece of paper.
*Collection definition: An exhibit containing 3 or more specimens of container grown plants, cut flowers, etc.; judged primarily for cultural perfection and variety; pleasing arrangement is desirable; should be accompanied by a key card or diagram to identify the plant material.
Houseplants
Class 3: Flowering houseplant . Owned and grown by exhibitor for a minimum of 6 months. Please provide saucer if necessary.
9:45 – 10:30 Meeting
10:30 – 10:50 Review/Learning Bench Show entries will be discussed what was successful/what needs help. Though points will be recorded, they will no longer be announced.
10:50 Regroup in main room
11:00 Speaker John Michelotti – Founder, Catskill Fungi (Catskill Fungi) Followed by a mushroom seeking walk and Q & A
Noon – Final Appreciation of Bench Show and depart
