CDS “A Tapestry of Daffodils”

“A Tapestry of Daffodils”The 68th Connecticut Daffodil Show theme this year is “A Tapestry of Daffodils” in recognition of quilting in America and our country’s 250th anniversary. A lovely daffodil-themed quilt will be given away as a door prize.

Show Dates: April 21-23

Horticulture

– Horticulture entries will be accepted April 21st 1:00-5:00 p.m. and April 22nd 7:00-10:00 a.m. No pre-registration is necessary.

– Grooming and Staging workshop will be held April 15th at 10:00am. Please reply to this email for more details if you would like to attend.

Floral Design

– Three classes: Challenge, Pot-et-Fleur and Construction Design.

Photography

– Four Classes: Novice, Color and B&W, Manipulated and Youth.

We are also hosting the Level III Judging School to train daffodil enthusiasts who wish to become accredited ADS judges. Attendance is also welcome for those who want to deepen their knowledge of daffodils without pursuing judging. The three schools do not need to be taken in consecutive order. Application is attached.
