Floral Design Schedule:
Using a container of your choice, create a a springtime design using all fresh plant material, incorporating aromatic herbs. Not to exceed 20 inches in all directions. Size will depend on the scale of the container used. To be viewed from 3 sides.

Horticulture Schedule:

  • Class 1: Cut Specimen:  One stem, spike or spray, not to exceed 16” in diameter only. Any foliage must be attached to stem; cut from exhibitor’s garden and shown in a clear glass container of exhibitor’s choice

  • Class 2: Flowering tree branch from exhibitor’s garden of no more than 30” from rim of container to tip. To be displayed in owner’s container.
  • Class 3: Flowering shrub branch from exhibitor’s garden of no more than 30” from rim of container to tip.  To be displayed in owner’s container.

Houseplants – must have been owned and grown by exhibitor for a minimum of 6 months. Containers may not exceed 14”. Provide a saucer if the pot has a drainage hole.

  • Class 4: Houseplants grown for foliage
  • Class 5: Houseplants grown for flowers
  • Class 6: Challenge class: Houseplants supplied through SGC. Read newsletter for information.

  • Bring in an 8×10 to share –A new assignment each month!  A prompt to encourage you to take a photo!
  • Bring it in to share – no judging – just an opportunity to give it a try. Mats will be available.
