Floral Design – Remember. Honor our Nation’s hero’s this Memorial Day.
Create an arrangement suitable for an outdoor event or picnic using all fresh plant material. May include leaves, flowers, berries, fruit (whole or uncut) etc. No size restrictions. Accessories permitted.
This will not be judged in the traditional sense. Comments will be made but each entrant will receive the same points, HM.
You may make 1 entry into each class.
Class 1: A Collection of 3 – 5 cut flowering specimens (perennials, biennials, tubers, rhizomes, bulbs or branches) from exhibitor’s garden, each a different variety. To be shown in a clear, glass container provided by exhibitor. Remember that daffodils have a sap that will harm other flowers, so do not include in your collection, unless all of your specimens are different varieties of daffodils.
Class 2: Houseplants grown for flowers by exhibitor for a minimum of 6 months. Container may not exceed 14″. Provide saucer if pot has a drainage hole in bottom.
Class 3: Houseplants grown for foliage by exhibitor for a minimum of 6 months. Container may not exceed 14″. Provide saucer if pot has a drainage hole in bottom.
