The Annual Garden Club of America 2024 meeting to be held in Hartford, Friday, April 26 – Sunday, April 28 will offer several Horticulture classes to enter including the Gavel Challenge. Only the best specimen from each club can be entered and will be judged against all other Zone II entries. This year, the challenge is an annual, Viola “Sorbet Lemon Chiffon”.  Beazie has purchased 20 packets (25 seeds in each) which you can buy for $4.00.

Stagger the plantings….
At the Seed Sowing Workshop in Beazie’s plantroom in the garage building, veryone will plant about 8 of your viola seeds. Supplies will be provided. Two weeks later, round Feb 13th plant 8 more seeds at your home and the remaining seeds should be planted around Feb 27th. Reminders will be sent out.
